against its infectious masks<\/p>\n\n\n\n

against its “stay at home” orders<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As life passes, it fades away,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

disappears, while famines<\/p>\n\n\n\n

lurk around the corner<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I refuse to be part of the masked pack,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I refuse to live dead from fear<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seing rigged numbers of sick and dead<\/p>\n\n\n\n

every morning, every afternoon,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

every day, every nightmare,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I refuse to be a slave, a vassal,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A possession of a corrupt state<\/p>\n\n\n\n

that even controls the hour<\/p>\n\n\n\n

when dogs pee on the corner<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I declare myself in permanent rebellion<\/p>\n\n\n\n

against all decrees<\/p>\n\n\n\n

that tell us how or not to breathe<\/p>\n\n\n\n

how far to walk from each other<\/p>\n\n\n\n

that forbid us from kissing, hugging, loving<\/p>\n\n\n\n

from visiting my grandmother Rosaura<\/p>\n\n\n\n

or uncle Alberto,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

that is, it cuts us off at the roots<\/p>\n\n\n\n

of EVERYTHING that makes us human<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I refuse to accept any vaccine,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am not pig, or sheep, or cow<\/p>\n\n\n\n

for the owner of this rotten farm to<\/p>\n\n\n\n

decide for me<\/p>\n\n\n\n

what will circulate through my veins<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I declare myself in constant, perpetual rebellion against this false pandemic and its henchmen;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

presidents, congressmen, governors, mayors<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and other inhuman and corrupt beings<\/p>\n\n\n\n

that under the pretext of a virus<\/p>\n\n\n\n

have ruined lives, economies,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

places of laughter, of recreation, of prayer,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

turning life into a big prison camp<\/p>\n\n\n\n

where we are no longer citizens<\/p>\n\n\n\n

but prisoners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I declare myself in rebellion<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I do not follow orders that go<\/p>\n\n\n\n

against Human Rights<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I do not follow decrees<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Written by the ignorant and inept who wouldn’t know the difference between a virus<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and a bicycle wheel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No state has the right<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to say that it watches over my health<\/p>\n\n\n\n

when it is killing me every day<\/p>\n\n\n\n

from hunger, from malnutrition,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

from its corruption that steals<\/p>\n\n\n\n

children’s money,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

while it drowns us in pollution,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

while they don’t give us a living wage,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

while it murders social leaders<\/p>\n\n\n\n

every other day or every day,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and they say they want to protect us with a vaccine<\/p>\n\n\n\n

a mixture of viruses and poisons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I reject all policies<\/p>\n\n\n\n

from this corrupt state<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to lock us up,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to demean us<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to terrify us<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and finally, if we don’t rebel,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
